I have a court date - what does this mean?

If you have been given a date for a court hearing this means you are sufficiently behind with your mortgage payments that your lenders have started the legal process towards repossession.

You will need to attend the court hearing yourself. Try to collect and take with you any evidence regarding your financial situation and what you are doing to try to resolve the situation. Going to court does not necessarily mean you will be repossessed. There are a number of possible outcomes from the court hearing.
